Instructions - Ambulance
Fresh off the digital production line and hot on the heels of the tender engine is this dinky little ambulance. It uses the same Atkinson-esque cab style but has a much shorter wheelbase with the cab steps sitting behind the front wheel arches. This was one of the first variants I built shortly after finishing the redesigned 4564 container trucks.
There’s no particularly special elements in this one, and certainly no chrome! The most uncommon pieces are probably the side and rear striped panels. If you don’t have them, you can replace them with a standard 1x4 red brick and a 1x4x2 white panel.
The extra headroom provided by the roof canopy (and the lack of fire helmets!) means the interior is a little bit more detailed than the trucks, with an armrest separating the two seats. The rear interior is intentionally empty; you can either chuck a stretcher and some equipment in there or, if patient survival isn’t your top priority, use the space for a battery box and lights.
